01How does the live research actually work?

Before generating anything, PlanForge fires five simultaneous web searches aimed at your exact industry: market-size reports, recent funding rounds in your sector, the competitor landscape, the regulatory environment, and customer sentiment. Whatever returns is injected into every prompt — plan, deck, SWOT, score and every tab. If a stream finds nothing usable, the Market Intelligence tab flags it as “no live data” rather than inventing it, and shows how many of the five came back — you watch it happen in real time on the loading screen.

02Can I edit the financial model assumptions?

Yes. The Financial Model tab has fully editable inputs — revenue growth, gross margin, monthly churn, customer acquisition cost, average revenue per user, and headcount growth. Change any number, hit Recalculate, and the three-year Bear / Base / Bull projections update instantly. No spreadsheet required.

03How accurate is the funding-landscape data?

It's generated from live web search at the moment you create your plan, so it reflects current-period activity. Like any web-sourced data, verify critical figures independently before presenting them — but it gives you an accurate, current read on your competitive funding environment that most founders simply don't have.

04What languages are supported?

Twelve: English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Arabic, Mandarin, Japanese, Hindi, Dutch and Russian. The research also looks for region-specific data when you name your country, so a Spanish founder gets Spanish market data where it exists.

05Does PlanForge work for US founders? Can I pay in dollars?

Yes — it works for founders anywhere. If you're in the US, flip the $ USD toggle in pricing to see dollar figures (checkout is billed in GBP). Select United States as your country and the research pulls US market data, US rounds and US regulatory context. All 18 outputs are tuned for US investor expectations and SBA-adjacent formatting.

07How is my data handled?

Your account and the plans you generate are stored securely in our database, so you can access, edit and export them from your dashboard anytime — and you can delete any plan, or your whole account, whenever you like. To build a plan, your business details are sent to Anthropic's Claude API; payments run through Stripe, so we never see your card details. We don't run ad-tracking or analytics, we never sell your data, and we never use it to train AI models. We comply with GDPR (UK/EU) and CCPA (California) — full detail in the Privacy Policy.
